A startling total of 131 terrorism-related occurrences have been reported in the area this year, according to the report.
The distribution of these incidences is highlighted in the paper. North Waziristan recorded twenty-one incidences of terrorism, Tank recorded seventeen, and Dera Ismail Khan recorded twenty-five. Furthermore, Lakki Marwat recorded 11 incidences, while Khyber recorded 10, highlighting the fact that terrorism is a pervasive problem in the province.
The deliberate attacks on law enforcement officers, of which there have been 59 by terrorists, are very concerning. Sadly, 49 police officers lost their lives as a result of these attacks, and 68 more were injured.
The CTD has increased its efforts to combat terrorism in response to these growing concerns, and this has produced notable operational victories.
