Country music artist Walker Hayes thought back on how adversity brought his family back together.
The now 44-year-old country music artist and his wife Laney experienced a terrible tragedy in 2018 when their daughter Oakleigh Klover passed away suddenly from a uterine rupture that also almost took Laney’s life.
In an interview with News, Hayes—who recently collaborated with JCPenney on a new apparel line—explained how using music as a release mechanism for his emotions strengthened his bond with his wife and kids and helped them get through difficult moments.
