Despite his advanced age, Aldo, 37, emerged from retirement to compete in the last match of his contract at UFC 301 and instantly rose to the top of the free agency rankings.
Aldo declared that the UFC has the authority to match any offers he receives and that he would be willing to prolong his 13-year association with the mixed martial arts company.
As Brazilian Aldo considers his options, a meeting with UFC president Dana White is planned.
“First we have to sit with Dana and see what is the best path we can take,” Aldo stated.
