On Defence Day, the Pakistani Embassy in Rabat, Morocco, held a special ceremony to honour the bravery and sacrifices made by Pakistani soldiers who defended the country’s borders and sovereignty during the 1965 war, as well as to reaffirm Pakistan’s commitment to its defense.
A distinguished group of civic leaders and diplomats from other countries attended the solemn occasion thanks to the invitation extended by Pakistani Ambassador to Morocco Mohammad Sami, which promoted harmony and collaboration.
Abdellatif Ouahbi, Morocco’s Minister of Justice, Anas Khaless, the Ambassador and Chief of Protocol, and other distinguished government officials honored the Defence Day celebration. They gathered together to honor the occasion.
The attendees honored Pakistan’s brave military forces, and Ambassador Sami gave a moving speech in Arabic.
