In honor of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), a holiday will be observed on Sunday, September 15, according to the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources of the United Arab Emirates.
This holiday is observed by the federal government in accordance with the cabinet’s determination of this year’s official holidays.
Rabiul Awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar, is traditionally observed as the Prophet’s birthday in many Islamic nations, particularly those in the Gulf.
Residents of the UAE can anticipate an extended holiday in December for National Day, which follows this holiday. In conjunction with the weekend, locals will have a four-day holiday as December 2 and 3 fall on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.
Additionally, Tuesday, September 17, has been proclaimed a public holiday by Pakistan’s federal government.
