Former intern at the White House Brian Jeffrey Raymond would entice women he met on dating apps like Tinder to his government-leased apartment, where he would drug them while providing wine and snacks.
After spending hours posing with his unconscious and nude victims, the 48-year-old would take pictures of them and then attack them. It was discovered that he possessed a collection of over 500 photos.
The horrifying assaults, according to the prosecution, began in 2006. They traced Raymond’s career through postings in Mexico, Peru, and other nations.
US Senior Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly declared, “It’s safe to say he’s a sexual predator,” and handed down the maximum sentence that the prosecution had asked for in Washington on Wednesday.
Approximately twelve of Raymond’s victims, who were merely given numbers, testified in court that they had been tricked by a spy working for an organization “that is supposed to protect the world from evil”.
One victim, who only remembered that they had a kiss, said that Raymond appeared to be a “perfect gentleman” when they first met in Mexico in 2020. She had no idea that he had recorded 35 movies and taken close-up pictures of her genitalia and breasts after she passed asleep.
After seeing pictures of herself, a third person claimed to have “nightmares” of seeing oneself dead, while another person talked about having a mental breakdown.
