Pakistanis face visa rejections from the UAE as the amnesty program draws to an end.

The UAE government has provided temporary relief by waiving fines

Given that the amnesty program is about to expire on October 31, Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi has been candid about the serious visa issues that Pakistanis in the UAE face.

He acknowledged a slight improvement in visa approvals during his speech at GITEX GLOBAL 2024 in Dubai.

Even though more than 180 nations attended the event, many Pakistanis had trouble getting visas. Visit visas, which are usually a dependable choice for Pakistani tourists, are said to have been denied more frequently in recent months, especially for men who are going alone or who are younger than 45.

As part of the ongoing amnesty, the UAE government has offered temporary respite by dismissing fines and permitting people to leave without suffering re-entry prohibitions.
