A lady has been detained and accused of disseminating untrue information on the “fake” rape case at a Lahore private college.
On social media, the defendant, Sarah Khan, reportedly purported to be the mother of the impacted student. As a result, the Gulberg Police Station opened a case against her. Among other legal laws, the allegations included infractions under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016.
Muhammad Imran Khan, a Pakistani police officer, submitted the report, claiming that the woman’s allegations were baseless. To make matters more complicated, she claimed in a video that the victim was her daughter.
