KARACHI: After forecasting a warm period that would last till Sunday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) recorded a maximum temperature of 38°C in Karachi today (Wednesday).
With temperatures expected to hit 37°C to 39°C over the next three to four days, the nation’s financial center has been suffering from the intense heat.
According to the Met Office, during the day, hot, dry winds from the north and northwest could blow through the city.
However, as the sea breezes return from October 27 to October 28, the temperature is expected to dip by the end of this week, according to the weather experts.
According to PMD’s daily weather forecast, a shallow westerly wave is affecting the western and upper regions of the country in addition to Karachi.
