With temperatures expected to soar to a blistering 39°C today, Karachiites are preparing for yet another day of extreme heat, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The PMD predicts that the day will continue to be hot and dry. The temperature is currently 27°C, but it is predicted to reach a maximum of 39°C. The lowest temperature that was recorded was 25°C. The humidity is 87% right now, and there are no sea breezes at all.
The wind is blowing six kilometers per hour from the northeast. The severe heatwave is expected to last until the first week of November, according to the PMD.
Rainfall is not predicted during this time, although there will be a modest rise in evening coolness starting in mid-November.
