October 27 is being observed as a “Black Day” by Kashmiris around the world in protest against India’s unlawful occupation of occupied Kashmir. To express disapproval of India’s actions, protests and rallies are happening in Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and other countries.
The Ministry of Kashmir Affairs arranged a protest gathering to express opposition to the unlawful Indian occupation. Kashmiris, civilians, schoolchildren, and civil society groups marched from the Foreign Office to D-Chowk as part of the event. Banners, posters, and flags from Pakistan and Kashmir were carried by the participants.
Against the will of the Kashmiri people, India unlawfully seized Jammu and Kashmir on October 27, 1947. This military occupation has made the situation of Kashmiris much worse.
