In April, a youngster from London who was dubbed “God’s influencer” for his online prowess will be declared a saint.
The first millennial—those born between the early 1980s and the late 1990s—to be canonized by the Catholic Church is Carlo Acutis, who passed away from leukemia in 2006 at the age of 15.
In May, Pope Francis attributed a second miracle to him, paving the door for his canonization.
The youngster has also been dubbed “the patron saint of the internet” because of his work managing websites for Catholic organizations and documenting miracles online.
