According to the province government, the 84-inch-diameter pipeline in Karachi was fixed on Friday following damage sustained during the Red Line project’s 17-day construction. Two places were where it was ruptured.
On December 3, the water board began repairs. Leakage at one location resulted in additional inconveniences even though the repairs were finished by December 9. The water supply was cut off in several parts of the city despite the repairs.
The inhabitants experienced acute water shortages during this time. The water supply from the Dhabeji pumping station was progressively restored after the repairs were finished, according to Water Corporation officials.
They predicted that it would take about twenty-four hours for the city’s water supply to stabilize.
