RAWALPINDI: After being postponed three times, the highly anticipated decision in the £190 million case against Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, the founders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), is scheduled to be made public today.
The PTI founder’s attorneys have been notified by the court staff that accountability court judge Nasir Javed will make the announcement of the judgment, which was reserved for December 18, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. today at a makeshift court at Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail.
The PTI founder, who has been imprisoned for over a year following his sentencing in Toshakhana case-I, is dealing with a number of legal issues, including the aforementioned case.
The judge was upset that the accused did not show up, therefore the previous hearing was postponed without the verdict being announced.
