According to Indian media, Pakistan Rangers apprehended an Indian Border Security Force man in Punjab on Thursday.
At the time of his capture, the Indian soldier was said to have wandered into Pakistani territory.
Indian media reports that the trooper, identified as Constable P K Singh of the 182nd battalion of the BSF, was apprehended in the Ferozepur region.
India Today said that Singh was held by the Pakistan Rangers over the Ferozepur border when he unintentionally crossed the Indian border fence and entered Pakistani territory during the normal journey.
