The military’s media affairs wing reported on Tuesday that security forces in the Turbat region of Balochistan had killed at least three militants during an intelligence-based operation (IBO).
The intelligence-based action was carried out in response to the reported presence of terrorists, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
“Three khwarij [terrorists] were sent to hell as a result of own troops effectively engaging their location during the operation,” the statement added.
The ISPR reported that weapons and ammunition were also found among the terrorists who had been killed, and that the militants were still actively engaged in a number of attacks on the security forces and the murder of defenseless civilians.
