LAHORE: Arshad Nadeem, an Olympian and Pakistan’s top javelin thrower, has stated his resolve to win a gold medal at the Asian Athletics Championship, which he describes as his first significant competition since the Olympics.
Nadeem told reporters in Lahore that he has been preparing for the event by exercising hard for the last five months. “After the Olympics, this is my first major competition. I’ve been putting in a lot of effort, and I’m totally committed to giving it my all,” he said.
The holder of the national record emphasized his desire to better himself, saying that he only truly competes with himself. “Arshad Nadeem is always my opponent. All I want to do is give it my all. I am in a position to win gold every time I give an event my all.
