SLAMABAD: As part of the Prime Minister Strategic Reform Initiatives for Women’s Mobility-Women on Wheels program, the federal government on Tuesday announced that 22,000 motorcycles will be given to women nationwide.
The project, which would cost Rs 4,476.17 million, aims to boost women’s accessibility and mobility by giving them access to motorbikes and scooters at discounted rates, according to the Economic Survey, which was released on Tuesday.
The program is open to women who reside in Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
