After a settlement to end a strike that stopped cross-Channel trains was reached, travelers going towards Europe should soon be free to resume their journey. On Thursday, thousands of French employees were left without a job after rejecting an end-of-year bonus. Affected services included Eurotunnel Le Shuttle, which operates trains carrying vehicles from Folkestone, and Eurostar, which operates passenger services from London St Pancras.
