In advance of Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day, US Senator from the State of Maryland, Chris Van Hollen, has congratulated the people of Pakistan.
Through a video message, the senator expressed his congratulations and emphasized the close ties that exist between the two nations and their respective populations.
It gives me great pleasure to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day with all of you. The peoples of Pakistan and the United States have established close friendships during the previous 77 years. Additionally, I’m eager to contribute in any way I can to further solidify our bond,” Senator Hollen stated.
