The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts that a powerful monsoon system will approach the Arabian Sea on Thursday evening, bringing with it heavy rain that is likely to batter Karachi and Hyderabad.

According to the Met Office, a powerful monsoon system centered in Tharparkar and the Rann of Kutch in India may make its way into Hyderabad, Karachi, and other districts, bringing with it heavy downpours and thunderstorms in the evening.

According to it, Karachi would probably see 150–200 millimeters of rain over the course of the following three days.

The meteorological service said that until August 31, there is a chance of sporadic rain in many regions of Sindh, including Karachi, along with thunderstorms and high gusts, with torrential downpours in some areas.

Anjum Nazir Zaighum, a PMD meteorologist, stated during the “Pakistan” news program that a powerful weather system.
