Because of civil disturbance in Bangladesh, the original host country, the competition is being conducted in the United Arab Emirates, where Craig Wallace’s side will play Bangladesh, West Indies, South Africa, and England in Group B.
Although Bryce admits that being at a World Cup has not yet fully set in, he is excited about the chance to play on a larger platform than what Scotland is accustomed to.
“When we were growing up, we didn’t get to see a women’s team at a World Cup, so hopefully that will be something special for people to see and watch,” the youngster remarked.
