After a “technical issue” interrupted operations, British Airways passengers were left stranded on the tarmac in several airports both domestically and abroad.
Around 17:00 on Monday, travelers began posting on social media that they were waiting in the cold to learn what was happening to their flights, which sparked the issues, which the airline claims have already been resolved.
BA claimed that the delays were brought on by an issue that impacted a few of its computer systems.
The airline issued a statement saying, “We’ve apologised to customers for delays to their flights and ensured they were able to reach their destinations as planned.”
No flights have been canceled, according to the company’s previous report on the issue.
