I’m finding it difficult to maintain a positive relationship with my younger siblings. They frequently overstep their bounds when speaking to me and are incredibly entitled. Although there isn’t a significant age difference between us—all of us are in our 20s—I do believe that they must respect me because I am the oldest.
The way they treat me sometimes pains me a lot, even though it may seem foolish to others who would dismiss it as a minor sibling dispute. Despite my desire to be a kind and sympathetic sister to them, their frequently impolite behavior only makes me angry.
I’ve made every effort to keep our relationship strong, but when I’m the only one involved, it can be challenging.
