On Tuesday, a San Francisco jury convicted a tech consultant of second-degree murder in connection with Cash App founder Bob Lee’s stabbing death.
Seven days passed before jurors found Nima Momeni guilty in the April 4, 2023, death of Lee, a well-liked tech tycoon who was discovered staggering on a deserted downtown street, gushing blood and pleading for assistance. Later, Lee, 43, passed away at a hospital.
According to the prosecution, Momeni drove Lee to a remote location beneath the Bay Bridge, where he used a knife he stole from his sister’s kitchen to stab him three times as part of the planned attack. Momeni was reportedly upset with Lee for bringing his younger sister to a drug dealer who allegedly gave her GHB.
