After a car struck people in London’s West End on Christmas Day, a man has been charged with four charges of attempted murder.
At 00:45 on Wednesday, the car struck four individuals while it was driving on the wrong side of the road on Shaftesbury Avenue in Soho, which is located in the theater district of the capital. In the hospital, one patient is still in critical condition.
Additionally, Anthony Gilheaney, 30, of Harlow, Essex, is accused with causing serious injury by operating a motor vehicle recklessly, driving while disqualified, and possessing a bladed object in a public setting.
After making an appearance at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, he was placed under arrest and scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey on January 24.
