The national security advisers (NSAs) of India and Pakistan have discussed the unprovoked missile strikes in New Delhi, according to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
When asked whether the NSAs had been in touch following India’s midnight attacks against Pakistan, he replied to TRT World, “There has been contact between the two, yes.”
As tensions between the nuclear-armed rivals rise following a deadly attack on tourists in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) last month, India conducted strikes on Pakistan and AJK early on Wednesday morning. Islamabad referred to the action as a “blatant act of war.”
Six Pakistani sites, including mosques and hydropower installations, were attacked, according to Islamabad.
