Following allegations in the UK media that at least eight people, including children, were hurt in an acid-throwing incident on Clapham’s Lessar Avenue in London on Wednesday, authorities in that city began looking for a man.
While their injuries are considered non-life-threatening, officers who arrived to the site were also hurt.
At approximately 7:25 p.m., rescue workers at the scene reported that three children and a lady received prompt medical assistance.
Additionally, the London Ambulance Service said that it was attending to nine patients, five of whom were admitted to a major trauma center.
