According to Indian media, a Jaguar fighter jet crashed close to Bhanuda hamlet in Rajasthan’s Churu district, killing two Indian Air Force (IAF) pilots.
The plane had left the air base at Suratgarh.
According to Rajaldesar Station House Officer Kamlesh, “The aircraft was a Jaguar jet that crashed in an agricultural field at around 1:25 pm (IST),” according to a local news source.
Property belonging to civilians was unharmed. The IAF stated it sincerely regrets the deaths and stands “firmly with the bereaved families in this time of grief” and demanded an inquiry.
