The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasted torrential rains and thunderstorms over Pakistan, including Karachi, from April 16 night to April 19 under a strong westerly system, following record-breaking rainfall that caused havoc in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to meteorologists, the same weather system that moved into the nation through Balochistan caused significant rainfall in Makran’s coastal regions after it passed through the Gulf nations.
Additionally, they predicted that from Wednesday night, the system would start to have an impact on Karachi and rural Sindh, though not as strong as it did when it brought devastating downpours to the Gulf states, particularly the UAE.
