Hello Haya
I fear illness and death more than anything. I’ve never understood why, but this sensation has always made me nervous. These ideas are consuming my late 20s, and they won’t go away.
Other than that, I lead a regular life, although sometimes I find it incredibly hard to deal with these thoughts. Even a slight headache wouldn’t stop me from being afraid and panicked.
I used to research various ailments on the internet when I was younger, and ever since then, my thoughts have constantly strayed to the worst case scenario. I have no idea how to stop thinking these things.
Please lend a hand!
I’m afraid I’ll become sick and die. Please assist me!
To my dear reader,
Emotions like fear and worry hold us back and hinder our progress toward living the lives we were meant to lead.
I would approach your concerns as a psychotherapist, showing interest, sensitivity, and understanding. You seem to be experiencing health anxiety.
The following are some directions that I think are worth taking:
Recognize the cause of your uneasiness. You seem to be feeling this way because of worries and traumas from your early years. Examining previous traumas that may have exacerbated these concerns will be beneficial. One of the most important steps in controlling your anxiety may be to recognize the underlying causes.
