Owing to illness and scheduled leave, a number of judges of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) would not be present for case hearings in the upcoming days.
The cause list scheduled for today and tomorrow has been canceled by Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb. His physicians have recommended him to remain in bed since October 10th, when he was diagnosed with dengue fever.
Furthermore, the cause list of Justice Tariq Mehmood Jehangiri has been postponed for one week, ending on October 23. There was no indication as to why he was unavailable.
Judge Arbab Muhammad Tahir is likewise not scheduled to appear in court today. Judge Babar Sattar has already taken a leave of absence that will last until the end of October.
