Three days after being hurt at Walsall, West Midlands’ Bescot Stadium station, 27-year-old Rhiannon Skye Whyte passed away in a hospital on Wednesday, surrounded by her loved ones.
On Sunday, emergency personnel were dispatched to the area at approximately 11:25 p.m.
Deng Cholmajek, 18, from Walsall, was detained and later charged with attempted murder, but detectives will now make an application to alter the allegation following her death.
According to a police statement, Ms. Whyte’s family called her “the most loved daughter, compassionate sister, loving aunty, gracious granddaughter, beautiful niece, wonderful cousin, and devoted friend.”
You were a courageous, eccentric, humorous, and selfless individual who was always there for others in need. They said, “No one deserves a tribute more than you, but there isn’t even enough paper in the world to start writing one.”
The strange thing about this terrible loss is that we now have to figure out how to live without you. If there is one lesson to be learned from your brief existence, it is to treasure every moment spent with the people you care about because you can never predict the future.
