It’s among the best scripts I’ve ever come across. The author, Peter Gamble, appeared out of nowhere. He is a USC instructor. “I got it from Toby Emmerich, who is a producer on it,” he said to Variety.
He went on, “Hey, read this script,” he added. I believe it to be unique. It’s about how Rocky was made, and I learned a lot of things. At the time he wrote that, Stallone was homeless.
