Ashley Paul Griffith, a former daycare worker who is frequently referred to as “one of Australia’s worst paedophiles,” was found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting around 70 girls and was given a life sentence.
Between 2003 and 2022, the offender admitted to committing 307 crimes in daycare facilities in Queensland, Australia, as well as abroad.
Sadly, his victims ranged in age from one to seven. Judge Paul Smith described the offenses as “depraved,” “horrendous,” and “there was a significant breach of trust.”
Griffith is suspected of molesting at least two dozen children in Italy and the state of New South Wales, according to the BBC.
