MANSEHRA: In the Matta Banda neighborhood of Lower Kohistan, a car plunged into a ravine on Thursday, killing eight family members, including a man, his wife, and four children.
According to The News, the driver lost control of the steering and the vehicle fell into a ravine while making a sharp curve on the Karakoram Highway when it was traveling from Gilgit Baltistan (GB) to Punjab.
Following a frenzied hour-long effort, Rescue 1122 personnel, law enforcement, and community volunteers arrived at the scene of the accident and transported the deceased to the District Headquarters Hospital in Pattan for medico-legal procedures.
