The Pakistan Army declared that the aspirations of the Pakistani people “shall be respected at all costs” and promised to react “surely and decisively” to any Indian attempt to impose war in response to India’s provocative actions following the Pahalgam attack, which killed 26 tourists.
The confirmation took place at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi, during a Special Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC) meeting presided over by General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS).
Since the April 22 attack on tourists in the picturesque resort town of Pahalgam in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), which claimed at least 26 lives, tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors have increased.
