Don Omar, a famous reggaeton artist, disclosed that he has received a cancer diagnosis.
He revealed the news on Monday on Instagram, sharing a picture of himself that seemed to show that he was wearing a medical wristband.
The Puerto Rican musician declared in the caption that “tomorrow” he will be cancer-free in Spanish.
The 46-year-old withheld information regarding the nature of his cancer or the course of his therapy.
Omar is scheduled to begin the second phase of his Back To Reggaeton tour in August after completing the first leg in April, which took him across the US and Canada.
He had previously shared a video clip of himself trying out dancers for the upcoming gigs on Instagram.
William Omar Landron Rivera is Omar’s real name.
