Hasan Ayaz of Pakistan made his nation proud on Sunday by defeating his Indian opponent in the Colleyville Open Squash 2024 final.

To win the championship, third-seeded Ayaz defeated Yash Bhargava 3-1.

Ayaz won the first game, but Bhargava won the second to pull off a victory. Ayaz won the next two games, though, and added another prize to his collection.

Ayaz won the match with final scores of 11-6, 8-11, 11-3, and 11-8.

Ahsan Ayaz had earlier defeated Ireland’s Denis Gilevskiy in the second round and Malaysia’s Yee Xian Siow in the semifinals.

Ayaz has won five titles since his injury comeback.

The overall prize money for the Colleyville Open Squash Tournament was $3,000.
