According to sources who spoke to News Monday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials’ thorough explanation of the arrangements for the Champions Trophy 2025 has pleased the International Cricket Council (ICC).
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi attended an ICC meeting where the preparations were outlined.
According to the sources, PCB officials gave the ICC board members assurances that the venues that will host the tournament are being upgraded and that all outstanding work will be finished by the deadline.
In addition, Naqvi issued an invitation to the ICC board members to visit Pakistan to assess the arrangements for the massive event that will be held there the next year.
