On Monday, General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), paid a visit to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Rawalpindi to inquire about the health of soldiers and innocent civilians injured during Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos and Marka-e-Haq against India.
According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS personally met with the wounded soldiers during the visit, praised their extraordinary bravery and unwavering commitment to duty, and reaffirmed the Pakistan Armed Forces’ unwavering commitment to their ongoing care, rehabilitation, and welfare.
“The foundation of Pakistan’s security is the bravery and sacrifice of our soldiers and citizens. The army chief declared, “The entire country stands in resolute solidarity with every member of its Armed Forces.”
