The PMD predicts two periods of heavy rain for the entire nation in late June, indicating an early arrival of the monsoon season. It is expected that this early arrival will relieve the extreme heat and bring comfort to millions of Pakistanis enjoying Eid-ul-Azha.
Speaking under anonymity, a meteorological department official provided more details on the prediction. “We anticipate that most places will see extremely high temperatures throughout the Eid holiday.
