ISLAMABAD In relation to an ongoing anti-state propaganda case involving social media activities, a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has once again called in 25 members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
According to sources, only Barrister Gohar, Rauf Hassan, and Shah Farman showed up before the team on Friday, despite the JIT having called 25 party leaders.
The sources claimed that Farman, who was asked some more difficult questions, acted inappropriately during the JIT’s five-hour grilling of the party officials.
Furthermore, on March 11, the social media team and PTI leaders, including Hassan, Salman Akram Raja, and Firdous Shamim Naqvi, were called back.
Khalid Khurshid, Aslam Iqbal, Hammad Azhar, Aon Abbas, Aliya Hamza, Shehbaz Shabbir, Sheikh Waqas, and Kanwal Shauzab were also mentioned by the sources.
