According to News, the White House is now in discussions with the royal family of Qatar about the possible transfer of an opulent jumbo jet for Air Force One.
Qatar affirmed that talks are in progress for a short-term agreement between the two countries, but it emphasized that the plane would not be a gift.
The jet might eventually be given to US President Donald Trump’s presidential library at the conclusion of his term, according to CBS News, which collaborates with the government in the US. The talks take place before Trump’s first significant international trip of his second term, which is scheduled to take place in Qatar.
“The talks are taking place between Qatar’s media attaché to the United States, Ali Al-Ansari,” he said.
