In a Swat hospital, a man was suspected of desecrating the Holy Quran and was lynched and burned on fire by the mob. A police station had also been set on fire by the mob.
The 21 suspects were reportedly brought before the anti-terrorism court (ATC) and placed in physical remand for ten days after that.
The remaining twenty-three individuals who were involved in the incident and are currently at large were also granted arrest warrants by the court.
In relation to the Madyan incident in Swat, police detained 27 people yesterday, including two brothers. 27 people have been charged by the police of lynching a man and burning down a police station.
In the Madyan incident, the police teams are also conducting raids in an effort to make further arrests.
