According to a GoFundMe campaign set up by the man’s older sister to seek money for a medical transfer, the man who has been missing since August 1999 was discovered sitting on a curb in Los Angeles earlier this year.
He simply disappeared without a trace. In the GoFundMe campaign, the man’s sister stated, “Not even his car was ever found.” I had been searching for unidentified remains the entire time. I was thrilled to discover him still alive!
The woman had contacted the Lassen County Sheriff’s Department on Friday to say that she believed a man featured in an online article was her missing brother, the sheriff’s department said in a Facebook post.
