Following recent gains, gold prices have hit all-time highs in both local and international markets.
The price of gold increased by $11 per ounce on the global bullion market, reaching a fresh high of $2,737.
The price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs2,000 to a record Rs285,400 from Rs282,300 on the previous trading day, reflecting this trend in the local jewelry markets.
Furthermore, the price of gold increased by Rs943 per 10 kilos, hitting an all-time high of Rs244,684.
On the other hand, the price of silver was constant, with the 10-gram rate at Rs2,700.62 and the per tola cost at Rs3,150.
