Ameer Hussain is among them. With more than 30,000 vinyl records in his personal collection, he has the title of “largest collection in Pakistan.”
Rare records by well-known musicians like Noor Jahan, Mehdi Hassan, Ahmed Rushdi, Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and Nazia Hassan are among the items in his collection.
According to Hussain, who spoke with Aaj News, vinyl records have a higher quality of sound than contemporary digital forms, drawing inquiries from those who are keen to acquire these uncommon gems all over the world. His collection is now a vital tool for conserving historical music.
