ISLAMABAD Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has once again put the official and informal discussions between the former ruling party and the government and establishment at danger with his recent post on X (previously Twitter) that targets the highest military command.
Even after the army chief’s most recent meeting with PTI officials, the former prime minister was told not to attack the army and its command in order to facilitate successful negotiations, but he remains irrepressible.
However, Khan made another hostile message on social media. Speaking to our correspondent under condition of anonymity, a top PTI leader bemoaned, “This [Imran Khan’s social media statements] is the biggest hurdle in moving forward.”
