Separate gunfire incidents in Karachi injured four persons, including a woman. Four suspected thieves were captured by police and citizens after purported shootouts.
The events took place in Golimar, Pak Colony, Korangi, and Clifton Beach.
Police say a shooting on Abdul Sattar Road close to Seaview injured a young woman named Irum. The shooting happened within a car. According to preliminary reports, she was with pals when a handgun was accidentally discharged.
Omar, a friend of the injured woman, has been taken into custody by police in relation to the incident. Investigations are being conducted, and Omar’s car and weapon have been seized.
Asim, commonly known as “Tanga,” was captured by police during a firefight near GPO Chowk in Korangi.
